DAWN SOJOURN
I got up before dawn to walk the beach and this is what I saw as I rounded the point. I loved the way
the houses on the headland seemed to float on the dawn fog and then, to top it all off, this string of
pelicans flew up the beach. I knew it had to be a painting!
