Island Vespers
I watched this glorious sunset from the western shore of Amelia Island. The colors were so intense,
even the air seemed to have substance and color. I stood amazed as the light was first gold, then
orange, then peach. The colors calmed to wonderful purples and finally, as the sun slid behind the
trees, the fading light seemed like the amen to finish the day.
